The Pune wrongdoing branch captured a criminal on the police records and recouped three stolen bikes worth Rs 1.20 lakh from him.

The suspect has been distinguished as Rajendra Aambadas Kalaskar (30) of Pimpalner town in Parner Taluka of Ahmednagar region. The wrongdoing branch (unit-I) group drove by auditor Vishwasraje Thorat has made the capture.

Thorat said that sub-investigator Dinesh Patil and police constable Prashant Gaikwad got a tip-off that a suspect from Ahmednagar would come in Kasba Peth for offering of stolen vehicles. "We laid a trap and arrested Kalaskar with a cruiser," Thorat said.
