Set up under the Department of Prevention of Water Induced Disasters on the premises of Chandranahar Koshi Tappu Irrigation Project Office, the venture will keep running for the following seven years.

Under the venture, around 30 kilometers dike will be developed on the either side of Khado River from its source at Chure Area of Saptari to Nepal-India outskirt of Tilathi VDC.

For the venture that incorporates the operation of the Khado extend and the development of bank along the waterway, Rs 145 million has been discharged in the 2073/074 financial year, the venture administration said.

In the interim, Minister Giri guided concerned power to finish the venture in time with the best possible administration of spending plan, HR and foundations. He additionally communicated responsibility to doing his part in remunerating casualties of the Koshi River disintegration.
