A walker was killed on Tuesday at Shambunath Municipality – 3, Saptari along the East-West Highway in the wake of getting smashed by a transport.

The transport (Na 6 Kha 5312) – traveling east from west – hit the lady of evaluated 70 years old slaughtering her on the spot, police said. The character of the lady is yet to be determined.

Her body has been taken to the Gajendra Narayan Singh Sagarmatha Zonal Hospital in Rajbiraj for an after death examination while promote examination has been propelled into the occurrence, District Police Office said.

In the interim, a man was killed when a motorbike crashed into a tractor stacked with sand at Banrajhula territory of Saptari locale around the same time.

The east-bound doomed motorbike (Sa 5 Pa 5619) veered wild and collided with the back segment of the tractor (Sa 1 Ta 3836) genuinely harming Jagadev Sahani, 26, of Kalyanpur – 3, police said. Sahani kicked the bucket in course of treatment at the Lahan-based Saptarishi Hospital.
